Village Hall Crash July 2023
The village hall was devastated by a car crash destroying the south west corner of the building including a beautiful stone mullion window. We would very much appreciate any donations. Especially as our insurer has claimed we are under insured and state a rebuild cost of £4,500 per square meter, therefore they will only pay 51.1% of our claim.

Donation
The village hall has generously been donated £15,000 from Heidelberg Materials to assist with the repairs. This allowed us to finish the exterior stone work.
Although still not totally finished, we’re nearly there but need to fund new windows. Double glazed opening wooden window frame with glazing.
The other 3 windows require replacing too a total cost of £17,000.
We hope this work will be commencing in early 2026.
