Church

St Mary Magdalene is a Grade 1 listed building and dates from the 12th century. Things to note are the Jacobean oak pews and stained glass windows, also the gallery is accessed from steps behind the church. The gallery would have been used by singers and musicians.
To the left of the porch is a “mass dial”, a type of sun dial which would indicate the time of services.

Details of services can be found on  benefice services.
This church is one of five churches belonging to the Mells benefice.; all services can be found on calendar
